The Cumberland County Library System administrative office is a department of government within Cumberland County. Governance is provided by the Library System Board and by County Commissioners.
Seven member libraries and one branch facility of the Cumberland County Library System (CCLS) provide library services to 221,162 people living in Cumberland and a small portion of Franklin County.
CCLS supports member libraries by providing leadership and management in critical areas such as computer and information technology, staff training and development, collection support, services for homebound older adults, interlibrary delivery and management support.
